Prompt: what happens when 2 conflicting art styles interact and create a collection? You and your partner visit the Art Institute and choose art styles that are different to reflect through design.
Approach: my art style was Post Modernism. Originally when designing I paid less attention to functionality and focused on shape. My partner and I brought our two design concepts together with the idea of “Dirty design” I chose to think about it more literally than figuratively. Distressing my piece and dragging it on the streets of Chicago, an urban jungle, making it truly dirty.
